Charles Andrew Jordan MD, FAAP, Pediatric Physician

"I love what I do because I can make a greater impact on my patients at this time in their lives than at any other time," says Dr. Charles Andrew Jordan, MD, FAAP.

Dr. C. Andrew Jordan, or Dr. "J" as his patients call him, moved to Lebanon and began practicing pediatrics in 1993. Then in 1999 he started Cumberland Pediatric Associates PC to better serve the children in Wilson and the surrounding counties. Since opening the practice, he has set the standard for pediatric health care in the area.

In 2011, Dr. Jordan expanded Cumberland Pediatric Associates PC to better serve the families in Smith County by opening a satellite office in Gordonsville. Then in 2012, he opened Kids Care Walk-In / Urgent Care Clinic to make quality urgent care available to all children in Middle Tennessee.

His education includes training at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. Dr. Jordan also participates in clinical research to better the lives of children of all ages. He has been most active in studies that help in the development of new and improved vaccines. In addition, Dr. Jordan is knowledgeable in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and regularly participates in seminars on the subject.

Dr. Jordan is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is both NRP and PALS-certified by the American Heart Association and is active in the care of both sick and well newborns at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.

He and his wife have three sons. He enjoys traveling, as well as playing golf, camping and fishing.
