Julia Byrd, a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, is delighted to be back in Wilson County where both she and her husband were born and raised. After graduating from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing she worked as a Pediatric Registered Nurse at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Her passion for caring for children continued to grow as she obtained her Master's of Science in Nursing with a Pediatric focus at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Since receiving her master's, she has practiced in Middle TN as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. She ultimately was ready to get home and serve the pediatric population in her community.

Julia and her husband Jake are the proud parents of two adorable daughters and two sweet pups. She enjoys spending time with her closest friends and family, being involved in her community, and being active by either running, doing yoga, or going on a walk with her family.

Julia admires how resilient children are and couldn't imaging working with any population but pediatrics!
