Amy Evans  MSN, FNP-BC

Amy Evans is a native of Lebanon, but has lived in DeKalb County the past 25 years. She graduated from MTSU in 1997 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing which led to 11 years working various nursing jobs in a hospital setting. She decided to further her education and graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing Degree from TN Tech in 2008 with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus. She has spent the last 14 years providing care to patients from newborn to geriatric age in the DeKalb County area.

Caring for children was by far her favorite part of the job and helped her make the decision to transition into pediatrics full time. She has been married to her husband Mike for over 25 years. They have two daughters and a son.

She is very active in her church including teaching Sunday School to 3rd-5th graders, being part of the Children and Youth committees, and taking part in outreach activities. She loves taking pictures, making photo books, and looking back on memories. She also loves traveling, seeing new places, and spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to providing care to those in and around the Gordonsville area.
