Madison K. Bears is Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Before going on to obtain her doctorate she was a Pediatric Registered Nurse in both inpatient and outpatient settings, first at Monroe Carell Jr.'s Children's Hospital and later at a pediatric primary care office. She also brings valuable public health experience as a partner on the Tennessee Department of Health's "SmartSHOTS" project, a mobile app that aims to provide accurate vaccine information and reduce barriers to pediatric immunizations.  

Madison finds it a privilege to care for children and families in her community alongside such a wonderful team of providers and nurses. She hopes to help families raise happy, healthy children so they can become happy, healthy adults. 

Madison is a Lebanon, TN native and lives here with her husband and dog. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
